My triumphant return to Florida!.....a month ago
Hey everyone, I've moved back to Florida. I've been here since January 11th actually, but I've been kind of busy with things like my new job and moving in and having no internet for a while.

I am working at Walt Disney World again, dealing with labor operations and deployment of Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Downtown Disney, and Vacation Planning.

$%#@ing Vacation Planning.

Anyways, it's a pretty cool job, and I've been pretty busy getting used to it and learning all the stuff I have to do lately. So that's what's been going on with me lately.

Delicious. Delightful. Delovely.
Well last night through this morning was my last night of work at Kohl's. It's going to be hard adjusting to a schedule that doesn't involve staying awake all night until 8 a.m.

A weird conversation I overheard at Applebee's
My family and I went to Applebee's for a family dinner tonight and heard a strange conversation. We were eating our nacho appetizers when this old but hefty woman walked over to the boothe behind ours' and said in a loud angry voice "WHERE WERE YOU? WHY WEREN'T YOU AT CHURCH?" We then got to hear the excuse, which was that a member of their group had very bad diarrhea, complete with the exact times at which said diarrhea occurred throughout the day.

Merry Christmas!

My poor circadian rhythms
Last night I watched the 3rd Matrix movie for the first time. Haha, The Matrix, remember when that used to be big?

I also read on my Wii news how working the overnight shift is being considered a likely cause of cancer.

I'm worried about my prostate.

I have been occupied with my work lately. You would think that overnight shifts wouldn't be affected by holiday shopping nonsense since customer interaction is limited, but you would be wrong. WRONG.

Sorry if I've been an ass about returning calls. You wouldn't want me calling you back at 6:30 in the morning would you? WOULD YOU?

I guess they also help you press switches that you are too light to press on your own
This daylight savings time really screwed me over this time. When I'm heading home from work it is already dawning out, and by the time I am home and getting ready to sleep it is pretty much daylight out.

At least I have the new Zelda. When I have time to play it. I've only had time to play the first two dungeons so far. I can't believe they made me like the iron boots in this game. They were the most boring item in the earlier Zelda games. In Zelda 64 all they made you do was sink in water. Then, in Wind Waker since you didn't go under water all they did was make you heavy enough to walk past areas with strong gusts of wind. Snooooze. But in Twilight Princess, they have the sinking in water, the walking past strong gusts of wind, and they also added WALKING ON MAGNETIC WALLS AND CIELINGS. Yes PLEASE. It is so badass to be hanging upside down and shooting things with your bow and arrow. Which coincidentally is also a million times more fun to play with.

I made a Mii of me.
I got a Wii finally, and it is totally awesome. Mario Galaxy was just too tempting for me.

But first, there is the new Zelda to play.

Simply Vera
My coworkers have the worst taste in movies ever. So far during breaks we have watched:

The Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift
The Rob Schneider movie where he is a girl
White Chicks
Catwoman
Bringin' Down the House
Ray (which is actually good, but I only got to see about a third of it, because the next day they started watching Catwoman)
others that I can't remember

Now, I can appreciate these kinds of movies on a certain (very shallow) level, but the women who are choosing these movies are enjoying them in a completely non-ironic way. I don't really have much room to talk, because my taste in movies isn't exactly refined either.

I wonder what is in store for me tonight.
